The joint Starkey Hearing Foundation and Dikembe Mutombo Foundation teams celebrate a job well done.

In July 2014, as part of the “So the World May Hear” campaign, the Dikembe Mutombo Foundation sent 35 volunteers to the Biamba Marie Mutombo Hospital in the Congo where they assisted the Starkey Hearing Foundation in distributing free hearing aids to 1,652 people.

For some, like Kinshasa Kabulo (pictured above and in the slideshow above), the hearing aids allowed them to hear the sound of someone’s voice for the first time.
