INGREDIENTS
- 1 medium red onion
- 1/2 cup apple-cider vinegar
- 1 tbs. maple syrup
- 1 tsp. sea salt
DIRECTIONS
Thinly slice red onion and place in a bowl.
In a small saucepan, combine the apple-cider vinegar, maple syrup, and sea salt, and bring to a boil.
Pour the brine over the onion slices, stir to mix, and let stand for an hour at room temperature before serving.
