Lunging Bridge

How do you transform an ordinary cardio workout into a more robust physical challenge?

I’m fortunate to live in an area with many paved and wooded trails, hills, and ponds with fantastic floating bridges.

The other day I was out enjoying one of our few remaining warm, fall days in Minnesota with a nice run. Sometimes I like to mix up my runs with a little “bonus” by lunging across one of the floating bridges (pictured below).

I didn’t do the entire length of the bridge … I got to 200 lunges, which was more than enough (I paid for it the next few days)!
