A Force for Good: The Dalai Lama’s Vision for Our World

Psychologist Daniel Goleman seeks an answer to the question, “Can compassion change the world?”

Force for Good

Renowned psychologist Daniel Goleman’s feel-good book, A Force For Good, highlights how the Dalai Lama’s teachings on compassion and the empirical evidence that supports them are transforming everything from economics to education.

Goleman, PhD, shares accounts of individuals, leaders, and corporations who are taking responsibility for better managing their minds and emotions — which the Dalai Lama refers to as “emotional hygiene” — to foster positive modes of being and creating a more compassionate economy.

The companion website (www.joinaforce4good.org) features videos of the Dalai Lama explaining the key points we can all cultivate to be forces for good in our lives.

Goleman is also the author of Emotional Intelligence: Why It Can Matter More Than IQ and Focus: The Hidden Driver of Excellence.

Heidi Wachter is the staff writer for Experience Life.
