Hi there I am so thrilled I found your blog, I really found you by accident, while I was browsing on Aol for something else, Anyways I am here now and would just like to say many thanks for a marvelous post and a all
round enjoyable blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to look over it
all at the minute but I have book-marked it and also included your RSS feeds, so when
I have time I will be back to read a great deal more, Please
do keep up the excellent b.
Hmm it looks like your site ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m
thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am
an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any recommendations for first-time blog writers? I’d really appreciate it.
It’s really a cool and useful piece of info. I am happy that you just shared this useful information with us. Please keep us informed like this. Thanks for sharing.
I AM VERY MUCH INTERESTED IN MODELING AGAIN. I DID YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS YOUNGER AND NOW I SEE THAT OLDER WOMEN ARE MODELING AND IT’S REFRESHING. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT I HAVE TO DO TO START MY NEW CAREER. THANK YOU.
Hi Carole Rund,
The process is pretty simple. You send a few photos of yourself to a model agency. If they think they could get you work, they will contact you. No need for professional photos. Make sure you have very little make up on, be yourself, do not try to “model” and smile!!!
And if they do not call you, don’t take it personally. They are looking for a product. A human product. The industry has opened up quite a bit in regard to ages and types, but the fashion and beauty advertising world has a long way to go before embracing models that represent a true cross section of the human race. If you go into commercial or lifestyle modeling as opposed to fashion and beauty, the parameters on height, weight and ones overall look is not as strict.
I hope this helps!
love my boomsticks and boomsilk it bring out my natural glow thank you cindy for following for your passions.
I got Boom “Color” and didn’t thik it is anything special. It is actually rather awkward and difficult to apply to the lips, since it is so wide. After a certain age your lips get small wrinkles and this product “licks” through them making a mess. When you are over 50, it takes more than only bees’ wax to get you going! (I am one of those women who has very nice skin, by the way; I’m 53 and people think I’m 40.)
Hi Mila,
I am sorry you did not like the size of Boomstick Color. Because it is not a typical lipstick, but a sheer color also used for other areas of the face, the wider shape suits the application better. Most women find it very practical, which was one of my objectives designing it that way. Not all women get the fine lines and thinned lips as they get older. We all age very differently. However, being as universal as it is, many women are thrilled with BOOM products. Boomsilk is a very effective moisturizer and I get letters daily from women who share that it is clearing their eczema, acne, even psoriasis! Those little bees make some magical substances! So thank you for trying the products. Sorry they were not for you. Congrats on being blessed with great skin and doing what it takes to keep it that way!!
Best regards,
Cindy Joseph

Hi Tammy,
Thank you for sharing your love and enthusiasm for Boom products, and for sharing your tip!
I had never even considered using Boomstick Glo for eyelashes or that they would keep their curl with an application!!! Lovely! I will give it a try myself! I promise I will not stop making Boom. I could not live without it myself!
Warm regards,
Cindy Joseph
It is about time. . . Models need to be real!! Not 19 and the size of a match stick!! “BOOMER” models. Is that why you called your product “BOOM”. I was inspired after I watched that clip. . . . . Glad so many beautiful women are finding new careers later in life.
